“The hardest task in the world, is to start the task!”
The thing that prevents a lot of people from working out is that they don’t know how to start. Well the easiest way to get started is to just get started. Do anything! Walk, run, lift weights, dance, unicycle, cheer!
Anything you feel comfortable starting out with is something you should start with. Something is always better than nothing; and more is often better than less. Its never too late to start exercising again and you can never be too busy. If you are a person who has major time restraints just fit working out in when you can. (i.e. 20 minutes early to pick up the kids, walk around the school. 30 minutes till dinner is done, do some push ups) the little things may not seem as big as a full on 90 minute work out; but the key in the beginning is to just get your body accustomed to woking out.
A major thing that prevents people from starting out is they set their starting out goals to high. If you haven’t worked out in four years, having a starting goal of running two miles is likely setting yourself up to fail. You have to be honest with yourself, and your own personal capabilities.
