Changing your life is definitely a lofty goal. So it is best to set your goals early. You want your goals to be big, yet realistic. Earlier this year I was at about 295 pounds, at the time I tried to lose weight I set a goal that I thought was really big but realistic. My personal goal was to get down to 235 pounds. It is not to enough to just set a goal you also have to live up to the goal.
If you really want to live up to your goal you should make it apart of your life. I personally would not got as far as getting it tattooed on your body, but it should be something you can not “forget” about. What I did was I made 8 signs, that had motivational information and my goal of 2235 everywhere. I had a sign on my notebook, walls, fridge and by my bed. The signs I made were everywhere and I stuck to my goal.
I eventually surpassed my goal but I still kept almost all my signs. The reason I kept my signs is so I will always remember the promise I made to myself to committing myself to a better more healthy life.
